Our Workshop
Every board has a story in the grain
From sustainably sourced lumber to your kitchen, here's the journey each board takes through our hands.
Slow work, by design
We could make boards faster. We choose not to. Wood is a living material, and rushing it shows. Every step in our process exists to respect the hardwood and produce a board you'll pass down.
Seasoned Slowly
Hardwood is air-dried and kiln-rested for months until the grain is stable and ready to work.
Cut & Shaped
Each board is milled, glued, and hand-shaped on the bench — edges eased, corners rounded by hand.
Hand-Oiled
We finish every piece with food-safe oil and beeswax, rubbed in by hand until it glows.
Inspected & Boxed
Boards are signed, inspected, and packed in gift-ready kraft boxes before they leave the shop.
